Giarratano Fox News Jeanine Pirro has failed to lay much weight on crime prevention in Washington DC and has set up a case for crimes among the lowest ever recorded through increased executive powers of Donald Trump. Pirro has alleged that there was an extremely low number of homicides, robberies, and carjackings in these years after the executive orders of Donald Trump killed these crimes in the very birth.

Jeanine Pirro made highly positive reports on crime in Washington, D.C., attributing huge drops therefrom to the leadership and policy measures of Donald Trump. Such developments were stated in a once-viral video message by the former judge and actress, which stirred a mixed reaction from viewers.
Pirro cited figures to make the case for declines in crime: 53% down in homicides, 57% down in robberies, carjackings down 75%, and violent crimes 39% down in total. And she said all of these gains obviously came theater prosecutors increasing rents; thus, it is logical to infer that increasingly more criminals were brought to book. She singled out Trump for special mention and praise, saying he alone had provided “the ability, the resources, and the determination” to make DC safe again.
The announcement immediately drew criticism from some commenters: “Percentages without numbers can be false,” asked one. Another went further by saying, “Anything that comes out of the mouth of Trump’s sycophants and disciples must be taken with a proverbial grain of salt.”
The news was met with eager replies from Pirro-Trump supporters. “Wow, those numbers are seriously impressive,” one commentator wrote, “It really shows the impact of strong leadership and focused policies toward keeping communities safer.” Another commented: “Thank goodness Trump can operate without Congress because the Republicans who are supposed to be helping with his agenda are useless.”
From here, the usual approach would center around concerns about methodology and sustainability. One user chimed in: “Two things: 1) is this sustainable? 2) how much is it costing? If the answer to 1 is ‘yes’ and 2 is ‘low’ then we’d have 2b fools not to see this through.”
More biting comments would come in turns, levelled at Pirro: “The entire GOP, Maga, and conservative Media are so busy licking Trump’s ass. Their breath stinks of shit,” said a snide voice. “Everything she said is a lie! Your welcome!” said another.
The exchange moved on to political comparisons; one user gave its take on the dissonance between Pirro and Trump statistics: “Will Pirro and Trump please get together so they state the same statistics. Trump 9/8/25: ‘they said crime is down 87%… It’s more than 87%—virtually nothing’.”
Under President Trump’s leadership, we are experiencing a reduction in crime never seen before in DC.

Despite the criticism, however, some expressed support for Pirro. “Thank you, Judge Jeanine! I have been a big fan of yours for years and knew you would get results, great job Judge!” wrote one supporter. “We love you, @JudgeJeanine,” added another, even attaching a biblical quote on justice.
In mixing reactions lie the division that crime statistics themselves present and their interpretation in political terms. Where supporters would view such reductions as proof of that policy is indeed in effect, skeptics would discount these numbers and damn those behind them as bribed. The litany goes on as both groups cast their own view on the nation’s capital in public safety terms.

This ongoing debate for political credit on crime statistics lends itself toward more supreme disagreements concerning how different agencies perceive law enforcement data and give definitions of success or failure to specific administrations and policies. The debate also brought to mind recent comments from Claudia Jordan, who has been critical of Trump. Meanwhile, financial experts noted that Jerome Powell has been a frequent target of Trump’s criticism. In international news, Piers Morgan recently expressed support for the former president’s diplomatic efforts.
