“We’re a minute away. But yeah, very excited. Very excited,” she teased without sharing if the project will be a TV reboot or a movie.
In the series that ran for 12 seasons for 1984 to 1996, Angela played Jessica Fletcher, a crime writer who becomes an amateur detective. Angela passed away in 2022 at the age of 96.
Also in the interview, Jamie played coy on what fans can expect from the new project.
“I’m tamping down my enthusiasm until we start shooting,” Jamie explained, noting, “I have a couple of other things to hustle then I’ll get to enjoy that work.”
In another recent interview, Jamie opened up about her struggles with self image as a young actress.
