Hilaria Baldwin is grateful for her time on Dancing With the Stars.
The 41-year-old and her partner Gleb Savchenko, 42, were eliminated from the competition series during Disney Night Oct. 7, and they took the disappointing result in stride.
“We’re okay,” she told E! News in a joint interview with Gleb after their elimination. “I mean, we’re not great, but we’re okay at the same time. It’s mixed.”
Hilaria—who shares kids Carmen, 11, Rafael, 10 Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 7, Eduardo, 4, María Lucía, 4, and Ilaria, 2, with husband Alec Baldwin—went on to get emotional as she reflected on the support she’s received from her family during her time on the show.
“The first night we got here to LA … I said to my daughter, because I’m so open with my kids, ‘What happens if I get voted off right away?'” she said, getting choked up. “She said, ‘Mommy, at least you tried.’ And I hope they always know that: At least I tried.”
