Heather Rae El Moussa Celebrates ‘Beautiful’ Stepdaughter Taylor’s 15th Birthday: ‘Grateful’ to ‘Be Your Bonus Mom’

Taylor El Moussa is getting lots of love on her 15th birthday — including from stepmom Heather Rae El Moussa.

The Selling Sunset alum, 38, marked Taylor’s birthday by sharing a collection of photos of the teen over the years, including a recent heartfelt family snap with her husband, Tarek El Moussa, 44.

In an Instagram post posted on Monday, Sept. 24, she shared a snap of herself, Tarek and Taylor posing together. Both Tarek and Heather wore black in the photo, flanking the birthday girl who opted for a bright blue dress with sneakers.

A second photo showed Taylor in a bright pink dress hugging Heather, who wore a white dress, as they both sat down. This was followed up by another sweet family snap of Taylor cuddling on the couch with Heather and Tarek’s son, Triston Jay, 2.

“Beautiful Taylor, happy 15th birthday!!,” Heather captioned the post. “I can’t even believe you are 15! To even say that is crazy. I love you so much.” 

“I’m so grateful to have you in my life and to be your bonus mom,” she added. “You have grown up to be so mature, kind and beyond beautiful. Thank you for loving me the way you do. I have so much fun with you and I can’t wait for more memories & girls days! I love you. 🩷🩷🩷.”

Tarek also shared a video collage on Instagram to celebrate his daughter’s special day. The clip, set to Fleetwood Mac’s song“Landslide,” showed photos of Taylor as she was growing up — alongside his and ex-wife Christina Haack’s son Braydon, 10. 

He included clips of himself kissing his little girl on the head and of the two of them doing various activities, including surfing, attending games and various sports activities and going out to dinners.

He wrote over the video: “1 year older, but you’ll always be my little girl.”

The Flip or Flop star also captioned it, “I could just cry every time I close my eyes and think of all the moments me and Taylor have had together.  I say it every year…I never would have made it without her.” 

“She kept me going and was my best friend when I wanted to give up. She was my rock at 7 and she’s still my rock today at 15!! Did you guys catch that? I said 15!!,” he continued. “That little girl that you guys used to watch on Flip Or Flop is celebrating her 15th birthday today.” 

“If that’s not a reminder of how short and special and precious life is, I don’t know what is. Taylor, I adore you to the moon and back and I’m the luckiest dad alive! To this day, I miss our daddy daughter dances❤️❤️❤️,” he concluded his post.

Haack, 42, also shared a special tribute on Instagram to Taylor, whom she called her “beautiful girl.” She posted a mirror selfie they took during a shopping trip. The mother-daughter duo matched in white tops and sneakers as they posed together.

Alongside the photo, she wrote, “The relationship I have with Taylor is the one I dreamed about having with my daughter since I found out I was pregnant with her. I love all our long dinners, trips, talks and time together. Taylor knows exactly who she is. I’m so proud to be raising such a smart, wise, beautiful, confident girl. Love you Tay. ❤️.”

The birthday tributes come nearly a week after Heather celebrated her own birthday with her blended family, including Haack and her new beau Christopher Larocca and Taylor and Brayden. The family posed together for a photo around a dining table. 

“Feeling so loved this birthday ✨ Spent the whole day surrounded by the people I love most 💕 My heart couldn’t be more full,” Heather captioned the picture.
