Fede Dorcaz has sadly passed away.
The Argentinean singer died at the age of 29, as confirmed in a statement on social media from Hoy.

“The HOY family mourns the sensitive passing of our friend and colleague, Fede Dorcaz. We join the pain that bears his entire family, his parents and his girlfriend, Mariana Ávila. Mariana and Fede were one of our predicted couples for the new season of Las Strellas Bailan today. Fede leaves a big void in our team. His memory and passion will continue to inspire us forever. Rest in Peace Fede Dorcaz,” the network announced.
The Mexican version of Dancing With the Stars was set to premiere this month, and the late singer and his girlfriend would have been a team on the show.
He was reportedly shot and killed on Thursday (October 9) while driving home from dance rehearsals in Mexico City in an attempted robbery that is still being investigated, per Us Weekly.
“I love you with all my heart like I tell you everyday. Baby boy, come back please I don’t want to spend another day without you,” his girlfriend tragically wrote in the comments on his final Instagram post.
