While the TV broadcast is ending, E! News will continue on as a digital brand. Employees were reportedly informed of the cancellation Thursday morning (July 24), and the evening’s episode will be a repeat. New episodes will resume next week leading up to the finale.
Some E! News correspondents are expected to transition to NBCUniversal’s new venture, Versant, a spinoff company that includes E!, USA Network, Syfy, and more, but those roles are still being finalized.
Meanwhile, Access Hollywood and Access Daily will continue production as usual.
E! will remain on-air with a mix of original programming (Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind, Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour) and acquired content, with new series like Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane and E!’s Dirty Rotten Scandals on the way. The network will also remain a red carpet go-to, including for the upcoming 2025 Critics Choice Awards.
