“Since my husband Brandon got eliminated on the last episode of Dancing with the Stars, what does that mean? Is he out of job?” she started out in a recent “Get Ready with Me” video on TikTok. “People are always so curious about the pros and what their jobs look like behind the scenes because it’s not really talked about… It is such a niche job that, understandably, there are so many questions.”

Despite being eliminated early, Brylee notes that Brandon “is still very much a pro on the show. Just because his partner was eliminated, doesn’t mean that he just gets the boot and he’s gotta pack his bags and go all the way back to Utah.”

“Sometimes we joke that they kind of get busier when they get eliminated,” she says, since they then get added to other people’s dances.

“So instead of dancing once a night, they’ll dance multiple times,” Brylee explains. “Essentially, just become like another member of the troupe… And even sometimes you have more opportunities to do choreography, either with the show itself, with opening numbers, special performances, etcetera.”

“Sometimes the pros that are still on the show will reach out to the eliminated pros to rehearse together,” she adds.

Brylee also addressed the DWTS pros’ pay and if it gets affected once they get eliminated.

“I’m gonna keep it as real as I can for you guys. I don’t think that they can speak about it. I think that’s why there’s not a lot of information out there,” she says. “I only know about Brandon and how it works for him. I don’t think that that’s really something we would share on the internet… But totally understandable that people are curious. I’m pretty sure even if you Google it, it’s not correct.”

“All I will say is Dancing with the Stars takes care of their people, so no need to worry, but I love you guys for being worried about him,” Brylee notes, adding that being eliminated early is hard because it’s less of an opportunity for pros to show their talents and personality.

“That’s been something hard for Brandon, is he had such a fun season last year, because he finally made the finale, and people got to know him and got to see his talent, and his hard work, and his choreography and all the things that he felt like he wanted to prove to people,” she shared. “For him to go home week three this season, that was a little bit tough. You guys can support the pros that got eliminated [by] going and following them on all of their socials, engage in their content. It really means so much and helps them more than you guys even know. The same goes for the celebrities.”
