Now, it’s been determined that despite social media rumors, the victim “was NOT struck by the monorail, so that is erroneous information,” per Orange County Sheriff’s Office, via People.

The guest died by suicide from multiple blunt impact injuries, the local medical examiner’s office determined. An investigation is still ongoing.

Footage circulating online showed a white tent set up on the balcony of the resort, with users on social media claiming a body was found on the track of the monorail.

“We don’t release additional information in cases of suicide,” the sheriff’s office told EW.

This story is still developing.

Earlier this year, a man sued Disney for apparent injuries at Blizzard Beach.
