Fans were met with multiple shocking moments in the Wizards Beyond Waverly Place season two finale, and they have many questions!
While not fully spoiling it here, there is a moment where some have taken as Selena Gomez‘s Alex Russo being killed off.
Star and executive producer David Henrie is teasing some future plans for the show and what really happened in the finale.

Following the big reveal, David took to Twitter/X to address all the chatter on social media.
“Just so you know, Alex Russo is tougher than you think – and there’s a lot more to come. You’re asking all the right questions. Stay tuned, #WizardsBeyond has got some magical surprises up our sleeves,” he wrote.
He also addressed speculation in the comments on our Instagram post.
When one fan suggested Alex went into a different dimension, David responded, “Good guess 🙂 so much to explore in future seasons and episodes :)”
Another fan wrote that Alex died, to which he replied, “Notttttttt exactly. Stay turned for future episodes”
In the penultimate episode, “The Wizard At The End Of The World – Part One,” when Billie’s (Janice LeAnn Brown) magic wreaks havoc at home, the Russos end up at Alex’s apartment for the weekend. Meanwhile, Justin searches for information about the mysterious Lord Morsus.
