Demi Moore is stepping out to promote the new season of Landman!
The 63-year-old Oscar-nominated actress joined co-stars Ali Larter, Sam Elliott, and Andy Garcia at the For Your Consideration Event for the second season of their Paramount+ series on Saturday (December 13) held at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles.
Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, Landman “is a modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of oil rigs. Based on the 11-part podcast “Boomtown,” the series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.”
Here’s the synopsis for season 2: “As oil rises from the earth, so do secrets – and Tommy Norris’s (Billy Bob Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes. Facing mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Moore), and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble – it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break.”
