David Del Rio‘s wife is breaking her silence on his sexual assault allegations.
On Thursday (October 9), it was revealed that 38-year-old actor was fired from the CBS series Matlock after he was accused of sexual assault by his co-star Leah Lewis.
After the news made headlines, Leah took to her Instagram Story to share a photo of herself hugging her mom, writing, “We’re moving forward in love and strength. I’m in good hands. Thank you to everybody for any kind of support and care. Truly, we’re moving forward in strength. Key word, strength. Let that be the takeaway.”
Later that night, David‘s wife Katherine Del Rio broke her silence and took aim at Leah.
Keep reading to find out more…In a since-deleted Instagram Story, Katherine shared a zoomed-in photo of Leah‘s face from the photo she posted with her mom, and wrote, “This is the most disturbing human being I have ever met,” Us Weekly reports.
Deadline also reports that Katherine shared another Instagram Story, which she also later deleted, mimicking Leah‘s post with her mother.
“Mom is here. We’re moving forward in love and strength after what Leah did to our family. Thank you all for the love and support!” Katherine wrote along with a photo of herself and her mom.
IF you didn’t know, David and Katherine married in April 2018 and share two daughters – Lilia, born in July 2023, and Coco, born in March 2025.
