Cheryl Burke is getting real about life after divorce, embracing celibacy, and tuning out online noise.
The 41-year-old former Dancing With the Stars pro opened up about where she’s at now, three years after her split from Matthew Lawrence.
“I need to heal still in that sense,” Cheryl told Us Weekly.

She then added: “I touch myself all the time. It’s great. We are good to go. There’s no emotional baggage that comes with it.”
While she’s not actively dating, Cheryl says she’s open to it down the line, but she’s not a casual person and wants to make better choices romantically moving forward.
She also addressed recent speculation about her weight loss, denying rumors that she’s used Ozempic or had cosmetic procedures.
“It’s a tired subject,” Cheryl said. “People are making full-on TikTok videos… using graphics, arrows, to point out my face, about the scars that they supposedly see.”
Cheryl, who just marked seven years sober in July, previously said on Instagram that the obsession with her appearance nearly triggered a relapse.
“I no longer chase chaos dressed as fun,” Cheryl told the outlet. “I no longer tolerate connections that require me to abandon myself.”
