Charli XCX Is Role Model’s Sally on ‘Saturday Night Live,’ Wears Kansas City T-Shirt Amid Rumored Taylor Swift Feud


Charli XCX made a special appearance during Role Model‘s first performance on Saturday Night Live!

The 33-year-old “Apple” hitmaker was the 28-year-old singer’s “Sally” during his debut on the late night sketch show, where he sang his viral song, “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out.”

During Charli‘s surprise appearance, which drew lots of screams from the live studio audience, she stepped out in a signature look of a leather skirt, black sheer tights and boots, with a pair of sunglasses.

Many fans, though, took note of her t-shirt and declared that Role Model has picked sides in a rumored feud between Charli and Taylor Swift.

Charli wore a shirt that read “Max’s Kansas City,” which fans are taking as a hit at Taylor, who spends a lot of her time in Kansas City with fiancé Travis Kelce.

Fans theorized that Taylor‘s new song “Actually Romantic” from her album The Life of a Showgirl is about Charli, and the “Opalite” singer explained the true meaning of the song.

If you didn’t know, Charli just got married to George Daniel, who is a The 1975 bandmate of Taylor‘s ex Matty Healy.
