Jinkx Monsoon is opening up about her sexuality!
The 37-year-old actress and RuPaul’s Drag Race winner appears in the just released interview with Ziwe, and came out as pansexual.
During the interview, Ziwe asked Jinkx what her favorite gay slur was, and that led to the Broadway star sharing a story about being called different slurs after leaving the theatre, before revealing her sexuality.

“It’s weird to leave my Broadway theater — where I’m, like, on Broadway, right? — and then I walk home where someone calls me [bleeped-out slur],” she said. “But it’s hilarious because I mean, are we talking about trans masculine or like a trans feminine, which I clearly am.”
“I’m clearly a straight woman. Well, pansexual,” Jinkx clarified.
If you didn’t know, pansexual refers to an individual’s capacity to be attracted to others regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation.
After Jinkx‘s coming out spread on social media, she shared the clip of her saying she’s pansexual on Twitter/X, writing, “Congratulations, I’m pansexual.”
Jinkx recently wrapped up her run in Pirates! The Penzance Musical on Broadway, and will next be seen starring as Mary Todd Lincoln in Oh, Mary! for a limited run.
