Blake Lively remembered her late Gossip Girl costar Michelle Trachtenberg as part of a series of previously-unseen images she posted to social media Sunday.
Lively, 38, shared a series of 20 shots from her time on The CW teen drama, in which she starred as lead character Serena van der Woodsen.
Trachtenberg, who died at the age of 39 earlier this year due to complications from diabetes mellitus, played the role of Georgina Sparks on the series for 28 episodes.
In the shot in question, Trachtenberg was wearing a black shirt with a necklace, while Lively was wearing a maroon shirt.
Both wore their hair down and parted while on the set of the teen drama, which also starred Penn Badgley, 38; Leighton Meester, 39; Ed Westwick, 38, and Chace Crawford, 40.
The show ran for 121 episodes spread over six seasons, elevating the Hollywood careers of cast members including Lively, Meester, Badgley, Crawford and Westwick.

In the wake of Trachtenberg’s passing this past February, Lively took to social media to say kind words about her late colleague and the upbeat energy she carried through life.
‘She was electricity,’ Lively said on Instagram Stories. ‘You knew when she entered a room because the vibration changed.’
Lively said that ‘everything [Trachtenberg] did, she did 200%.’
Lively painted a portrait of a good friend, supportive colleague and brave soul in the memorial she penned for Trachtenberg.
‘She laughed the fullest at someone’s joke,’ Lively said, ‘she faced authority head on when she felt something was wrong, she cared deeply about her work, she was proud to be a part of this community and industry as painful as it could be sometimes.’
Lively said Trachtenberg ‘was fiercely loyal to her friends and brave for those she loved, she was big and bold and distinctly herself.’
Trachtenberg’s cause of death was confirmed this past April by the New York City’s Office of Chief Medical Examiner, an classified as ‘natural;’ Trachtenberg’s relatives had past cited religion as a reason why they did not want the results of her autopsy made public.
Lively, who is wed to actor Ryan Reynolds, said that ‘the world lost a deeply sensitive and good person in Michelle,’ concluding, ‘May her work and her huge heart be remembered by those who were lucky enough to experience her fire.’

The throwback marked a lighthearted turn as Lively remains in a bitter courtroom clash with Justin Baldoni, stemming from their experience filming the 2024 romantic drama It Ends with Us.
In December 2024, the actress sued Justin for allegedly sexually harassing her on set, claims he denied before he and Wayfarer Studios fired back with a defamation suit against Blake, her publicist Leslie Sloane and husband Ryan Reynolds.
Baldoni also sued The New York Times, filing a $250 million lawsuit against the publication over its bombshell tell-all on Lively’s sexual harassment claims against her former co-star on December 31, 2024. The New York Times denied the allegations.
On June 9, however, it was learned that a judge dismissed Baldoni’s lawsuit in a major setback for the actor’s hopes for a blockbuster win over the wealthy actress.
