Blake Lively has filed a motion in court arguing that Justin Baldoni should pay her a “multi-million-dollar award” after fighting against the “frivolous” claims in his defamation lawsuit.
After Blake accused Justin of sexual harassment during the filming of their movie It Ends With Us, he filed a $400 million defamation lawsuit against her.
Justin‘s lawsuit was dismissed by Judge Liman and Blake‘s lawsuit is still on track to go to trial in spring 2026. In the meantime, she wants him to pay up, according to Variety.

The motion that was filed states that “as the ‘prevailing defendant,’ Ms. Lively is entitled to her attorneys’ fees and costs, treble damages, and punitive damages.”
The documents note that “Ms. Lively estimates that she will seek a multi-million-dollar
award to recover her attorneys’ fees and costs in defending against the Wayfarer Parties’ claims (including, this briefing, expert witness fees, and any further proceedings on this request).”
Blake plans on laying out the evidence to determine how much she should receive in treble and punitive damages, and she wants the court to act quickly to figure out that amount. She would like the amount to be determined before her trial against Justin next year.
“Ms. Lively should not be delayed or required to prevail on the claims in her own case to obtain damages to which she is entitled under Section 47.1 today. Moreover, quantifying the Section 47.1 damages now will further serve the statutory purpose and underlying public policy by deter retaliatory litigation conduct that the Wayfarer Parties continue to engage in despite their claims being dismissed with prejudice,” the motion states.
Blake just made a rare public appearance amid all of the controversy.
