Jimmy Heagerty was one of the fan favorite contestants on Big Brother season 27, but was unfortunately eliminated in a vote of 9-2 during last week’s eviction.

Just Jared got the chance to sit down with the 25-year-old to discuss all things BB, including his winner picks, who he believes is playing the best game now that he’s seen everything that has gone on in the house, and more.

Just Jared: What do you think of Ava’s nominations and who would you vote out?

Jimmy Heagerty: I love Ava’s nominations. Listen, I knew Ava was going to turn that house on its head. I am so excited she won HOH. I love her noms. And I mean, before I say who’s going to get voted out, let’s see who the replacement nom is today if Zach uses his power. But all I’m going to say is the people who engineered my demise are all on the block this week or are in danger of being on the block. So I’m just going to call that Jimmy’s karma.

If Morgan ends up on the block, I would want Morgan to leave. But if she doesn’t, Vince, Zach, then Keanu in that order. But who would have thought I’d be advocating for Keanu to stay at this point? I’m actually hoping Katherine uses the veto on him because I would love to see both Mickey and Morgan sitting up there with Vince this week going into eviction.
That would be chef’s kiss.

JJ: It’s kind of funny because in our past interviews with other evicted house guests, one had Morgan as a potential winner or someone to get far.

JH: Yeah I never pegged Morgan as a winner. I don’t think she playing the best game. I think she’s overly paranoid and borderline a little bit unstable in the game. [If you are looking for a winner pick] or who you think I think is going to win… Keep your eyes on Miss Ava Pearl. Keep your eyes on Will. Will’s playing a surprisingly good game. And my dark horse of the season, obviously I’m rooting for Rachel, but my dark horse of the season….I mean, Ashley is playing a smart game. She has all of the house dynamics pegged. She understands she needs to listen more than she can speak. And I really think she’s playing up this ditzy girl sort of personality. And I think that’s that’s one to watch. So I’m keeping my eyes on Rachel, Ashley, Ava and Will for sure. I think they’re all in really good positions right now.

JJ: Since reintegrating back into the real world, have any opinions from like Big Brother Twitter or the Big Brother like social media sphere surprised you?

JH: Yeah, I mean, I think two things. I think one, I didn’t expect, and I don’t think we in the house expected Ashley to be playing as smart of a game as she is, because to us, it does not look that way. She’s really, again, playing up this ditzy girl sort of personality, I think, to the point where we are all underestimating Ashley, even some of the people closest to her. Once you talk to Ashley you realize how smart she actually is. But I think because of that, all of us will come out of this house and see the game she playing and be very pleasantly surprised. And I think lastly…we all had Rylie pegged as somebody who would be America’s favorite player. Only because in the house he’s very liked and very likable. I always said I was in a tough block position because I’m sitting next to the most liked person in the house in Riley and the blockbuster queen in Kelley. And then you come out of the house and realize that is certainly not the case, shall we say. So that was definitely a surprise as well, I think, understandably. But yeah, the surprise was the game Ashley’s playing and Riley’s perception were my two biggest surprises for sure.

JJ: Most underrated player right now?

JH: Honestly, I would say Ashley’s honestly my most underrated player right now. Like, I think she’s playing a really good game. And I think the viewers see that. I don’t think we see that in the house. I don’t think we see the kind of game she plays where she baits Morgan to have Morgan spill her entire game to Ashley over the span of 30 minutes with Ashley just responding. And same thing with Zach. She had she got Zach to spill his entire game to her and 30 minutes of her saying nothing actually is doing what I wish I had done better, which is listening more than you speak. But I would say Ashley is taking the cake on that one for me.

JJ: Do you think it’s her secret lawyer status that’s really like driving that home?

JH: I do. I don’t think anybody knows how smart Ashley really is. Maybe it’s because she’s a lawyer but I think the intellect she has and the confidence she has within herself that I don’t think I even really saw until I was outside of the house. I think she is thinking through every single moment and being very intentional with her actions and gameplay. And I think there a lot to be said for that

JJ: You tweeted this weekend, before I left, I opened the condom box and threw one away. Is that true?

JH: Yeah. So on eviction day, one of the things I was doing, so I was planting a lot of seeds before I left. I was telling people they can’t trust Morgan. And that if they get rid of Morgan, they can pull Mickey in as a number. I was making sure everybody knew they couldn’t trust Morgan. One of the last things I was doing while I had my spoon out and stirring that pot, I know there’s a lot of brewing showmances, not just between Riley and Katherine, but there’s this whole love triangle going on where Zach likes Lauren, but Lauren doesn’t really like Zach. Where Morgan likes Zach, but Zach doesn’t really like Morgan. Where Vince likes Morgan, but Morgan really doesn’t like Vince. And so I was like, why not just pull a condom out of the condom box, open it and throw it away. We talk a lot about those condoms in there. So I’m like, listen, if I just take one out, throw it away and I left the box. So when you open the hygiene drawer, it’s right there and you can tell there’s some missing. Yeah, I did that on purpose. And from what I’ve seen on the live feeds, they’re talking about it. So I would say job well done.
