Benedict Cumberbatch Gets Support from Wife Sophie Hunter at ‘The Thing With Feathers’ Premiere in London


Benedict Cumberbatch is hitting the red carpet at the 2025 BFI London Film Festival!

The 49-year-old Oscar-nominated actor had the support of wife Sophie Hunter at the premiere of his new movie The Thing With Feathers on Saturday (October 11) held at BFI Southbank in London, England.

Also joining Benedict were his young co-stars Richard and Henry Boxall along with director and writer Dylan Southern. Also in attendance was Max Porter, who wrote the book, Grief is the Thing with Feathers, that the movie is based on.

The man’s life is unraveling because of the grief that takes the form of an unhinged and unwanted houseguest – a crow – that taunts him from the shadows,” according to Deadline.

In an interview from earlier this year, Benedict opened up about portraying emotional vulnerability and masculinity for the movie.

The Thing with Feathers will be released in theaters on November 28.
