With her most recent new branding, Belinda just gave an uber flex to any and all cat lovers. This Mexican pop icon partnered up with Purina and Petco to create the FancyCatLovers Bistro Experience and host the much-discussed exclusive event. The venue was located at Petco Gran Terraza Coapa, and it lived up to all those promises of the fantastical experiences for the feline.

Although I do not see why I need to say it, she posted it with sparkle emojis, because when hasn’t Belinda sprinkled a little sparkle? This post just launched a frenzy amongst the fans for Belinda and the immensely photogenic cats.
Capturing the sentiment of the masses, one fan mused: “She gave us pose, she gave us style, she gave us elegance, she gave us kittens, she gave us everything.” Oh, and isn’t that just the story? Just pure love for Belinda and those fluffy co-stars. One user even compared those cats to Choupette, Karl Lagerfeld’s most famous feline muse, saying they looked “super elegant and rich.”
One of the official Petco accounts chimed: “We’re happy to have lived this experience with you, thanks for being part of the Petco family.” And that may have prompted a former Custodian to comment: “I worked at a branch in Monterrey!” It would take something like Belinda’s event to awaken a Petco alumni.
Wherever Belinda is mentioned, so is drama by default. One could not resist asking: “What happened to her Egyptian cat? Why wasn’t it at the parade?” Since attribute keep tabs on celebrity pets these days, somebody joked Belinda “told Daddy she wants her own cat food brand too” right after the collab. The internet is just unbeatable at instant meme-making.
The real stars were of course the cats. Many comments were made about how “beautiful” and “elegant” they look; one person wanted to know if these were “Aristocats or normal cats,” like it mattered with Belinda around. One of the fans jokingly claimed the right to adoption: “I can eat that cat food no problem.”
Indeed, perhaps the strength in this partnership lies in it being a direct reflection of Belinda herself.
