AFL megastar Bailey Smith arrived at the Brownlow medal count on Monday night with a very trendy accessory – but it wasn’t his rumoured love interest Tammy Hembrow.
The Geelong Cats midfielder attended the awards ceremony wearing a pair of trendy ‘speed dealer’ sunglasses.
Bailey suited up for the occasion in an all-black ensemble, looking dapper in tuxedo and a bow-tie.
He wore his signature blonde locks in a messy style across his shoulders and a giant smile on his face as he posed alongside the AFL’s Chief Executive Officer Andrew Dillon.
Notably absent was Tammy, who was nowhere to be seen despite weeks of rumours that she would be attending the AFL’s night of nights on the arm of the footy star.
Bailey broke his silence on his romance with the Gold Coast content creator during an interview with KIIS FM’s Kyle & Jackie O Show on Monday.

He confirmed the pair are ‘just friends’ and revealed that Tammy wouldn’t be accompanying him to the Brownlow Medal count, despite weeks of speculation.
‘What’s going on [with you and Tammy]? Are you taking Tammy tonight or not?’ host Kyle Sandilands asked.
Bailey responded: ‘No, I’m not. No. I didn’t want to bore her with footy all night. She’s not a big footy fan. And we’re just mates.’
‘So, you guys aren’t exclusive or boyfriend and girlfriend?’ co-host Jackie Henderson questioned.
Bailey confirmed: ‘No, we’re just mates.’
The AFL star then revealed he was taking his jiu-jitsu instructor to the annual awards night.
‘I’m taking my jiu-jitsu coach. He’s a good man. He’s one of my best mates. And he’ll be blind all night. Yeah, he’s having a big one,’ he said.
Shortly after Bailey’s interview, Tammy shared a busty selfie to Instagram on Monday morning, which showed her flaunting her assets in a skimpy bikini.

It’s a big night for Bailey, who is in the running for the most coveted award of the evening thanks to the immediate impact he made in his first season at Kardinia Park.
His mix of explosive pace, contested work, and a string of late-season best-on-ground performances has many predicting he could nab the Brownlow Medal.
This year’s Brownlow predictor models have tipped another tight finish, with Collingwood’s Nick Daicos leading most simulations after a season built on sheer consistency.
The Magpies superstar was prolific with disposals, regularly surpassing 30 touches, while also delivering match-winning bursts that kept him in the spotlight even when Collingwood struggled.
Gold Coast’s Noah Anderson has emerged as a genuine star, dominating in the Suns’ midfield and finishing among the league leaders for clearances and contested possessions.
His ability to control the tempo of games has made him one of the umpires’ most noticeable players.
Adelaide captain Jordan Dawson enjoyed a career-best year, balancing leadership with clutch performances that swung matches.
While his disposal average dipped slightly, his All-Australian honours and big fourth-quarter efforts make him a serious threat to become the Crows’ second Brownlow Medallist.
Rounding out the contenders is Fremantle’s Caleb Serong, whose consistency in contested ball and ability to set the tone at stoppages powered the Dockers into September.
With another All-Australian blazer to his name, Serong’s mix of grit and polish gives him every chance of polling strongly.
