If you are like us, you’re obsessed with all the drama surrounding Ashley Tisdale‘s mom group!
This month, the 40-year-old actress dropped a scathing essay for The Cut about blasting her “toxic” group of mom friends. Ashley thought she “found my village” after welcoming her first daughter, Jupiter French, but over time? She realized that was not the case. Instead, the High School Musical alum felt they were “mean” girls, cliquey, and excluded her from events. It eventually became way “too high school” for Ashley, so she broke up with them.
In her pals’ opinion, however, they reportedly felt like she was the “extremely toxic” and self-absorbed one who couldn’t even bother to help out during the LA wildfires — and made them “uncomfortable” with her political views. One source even said the friendship breakup was “a long time coming” because “she’s insufferable.” Damn.

Ashley did not name names in the essay, but fans quickly figured out her mom friends are some very famous faces — Mandy Moore, Hilary Duff, and Meghan Trainor. They all used to hang out, along with several other mothers and their kids. She unfollowed Mandy and Hilary on Instagram. All the evidence seems to suggest the He Said She Said singer took aim at that particular friend group in the piece! However, her rep would like us to think otherwise! They denied the rumors! Yeah, suuuure. Whatever they say. No one is buying it, though! Especially since the Lizzie McGuire alum’s hubby is getting shady about Ashley!
Obviously, we all know who Mandy, Hilary, and Meghan are. They’ve been around for many, many years. But who are the other members of their mom group that Ashley supposedly has beef with? Get to know the women who’ve been reported to be involved with the famous mom group (below)…
IMPORTANT NOTE: To be clear, just because these other moms are reportedly in the group, that doesn’t mean any of them are who Ash is referring to. They could all be the loveliest of people!
Janice
First up, Janice is a member of the mom group. She is a mom to a son and the founder of a company that sells hands-free breast pumps. It appears the businesswoman has attended several events with the friend group, including back in October when they all went to Hotel El Roblar in Ojai, California. Notably, Ashley was not in attendance. At the time of writing this, Ashley still follows Janice on Instagram. We guess she doesn’t have as much beef with her as some of the others!
Gaby
Next up is Gabby. She is the author of a bestselling cookbook. The chef has been a part of the group since 2021, as she and her daughter attended Hilary’s music classes. She has continued to hang out with the entire group over the years, even going on a family vacation with Mandy in July of last year. As of this writing it is unclear if Ashley follows her on social media.
Kelsey
Then we have Kelsey, a celebrity makeup artist. She has worked with many big names, including Mandy, Hilary, Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Emma Roberts, Kelsea Ballerini, and Jennifer Garner.
Kelsey also attended Hilary’s first music class — along with her daughter. Ashley still follows her at this time.
Haylee
Not much is known about Haylee — other than she is part of the mom group. She makes regular appearances in the hangout photos, including that vacation in October that Ashley missed. Beyond that? Haylee remains relatively private. Her Instagram account isn’t even public. However, it appears Ashley is following her.
Amanda
Just like Haylee, Amanda is a more private member of the mom group. Her main Instagram profile, which Ashley follows, isn’t public. She does have another account showing off her artwork, though.
Whitney
Whitney has a son, whom she shares with husband Travis. She is a content creator who raved about the Ojai group trip, saying:
“Leveling up but it’s really just making sure you’re surrounding yourself with people you’d trust to only say good things behind your back”
And that may or may not include Ashley! It appears the Phineas & Ferb star does not follow Whitney on Instagram.
Samii
Finally, there is Samii. She is a mom to two sons. She is also a fashion designer and the owner of an eponymous streetwear brand. You may recognize her because she threw MAJOR shade at Ashley after her essay for The Cut dropped! Earlier this week, Samii re-posted a video of a man mouthing Megan Thee Stallion’s Her lyrics:
“I don’t care if these bitches don’t like me, ’cause, like, I’m pretty as f**k / Just the other day, I heard a ho say / Matter of fact, what could a ho say? With a face like this and a bitch this paid, s**t, what could a ho say?”
The question is now… Will the mom group survive even this?! LOLz! IYKYK!
