Ashley Iaconetti Haibon is preserving yet expanding an ardently cherished family custom for yet another generation. The Bachelor alum paired a wistful throwback post with an up-to-date family outing shot, the former standing as proof that some things never go out of style.

“From 1998 into 2025 and beyond, Royal has always been the choice,” said the same caption she has always employed to express undying affection for Royal Caribbean cruises. That very first cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas turned her into a committed addict, and since then, she has been able to provide yet another American family tradition. Now, she is passing the cruising magic on to her kids with their first cruise on Star of the Seas.
The post inspired some comments, with fans sharing their own stories of cruising. One of them wrote: “My first cruise was on Rhapsody too!! Same time, I remember this itinerary!” while another commented, “Love you are continuing this tradition with your kids.” The good vibes carried on through to more comments that praised Ashley for putting her family first through this channel of traditions.
But perhaps the best story was told by a lady who worked on Royal Caribbean and wound up marrying her husband on it: “My husband and I met on Royal Caribbean—both worked on the Rhapsody. Cruising is the best—we have enjoyed taking our kids back over the years. If it wasn’t for cruising, they wouldn’t be here.” How’s that for a full-circle story!
Commenters couldn’t help but rave about Ashley’s dress, and some gems followed, such as “You rocked the green dress!!” Another cheeky comment declared, “You’re the only influencer who knows how to use an apostrophe. Priorities, right?”
The post got early cruisers in some debate, with one user asking if Ashley ever sailed out of New York in 1998, and another replying that Rhapsody was probably out of Puerto Rico at that time. One sombre note from a user was: “Same time frame and ship Amy Lynn Bradley went missing from.” A grim footnote in cruise history, but it didn’t bring those far-reaching celebratory vibes down.
Ashley’s trip down memory lane sure stirred the pot. Whether the nostalgia, camaraderie, or just the siren call of fantastically woven tales on the high seas, Royal Caribbean is surely regarded as an “all-time-ever” fan by Ashley Iaconetti Haibon herself. Now that her little ones are aboard, the tradition is full steam ahead.

So what comes next? More cruises, more memory-making, and more heart-melting family picture-taking. In fact, as Ashley so eloquently puts it, some vacations aren’t trips; they are legacies. And the legacies never stop; they just get promoted to bigger ships.
