Ash Barty has nabbed herself a grand beachfront property on the Gold Coast for an eye-watering sum.
The Aussie tennis star, who recently welcomed her second child with her husband Garry Kissick, dropped nearly $4 million on the Palm Beach apartment, which will boast breathtaking sea views once construction has been completed in November.
The 12-story Glitter Strip building, named Kloud, is being brought to life by Graya, a celebrity developer who is responsible for the homes of many high-profile clients, including rugby star Darius Boyd, rapper Example and model Erin McNaught.
According to realestate.com.au, the 29-year-old’s new purchase on Jefferson Lane will be a lock-up-and-go holiday home for her and her family to enjoy.
The modern four-bedroom, three-bathroom home boasts large floor-to-ceiling windows and open-plan living spaces that are drenched in light.
Luxe additions include European oak floorboards, integrated Miele appliances and natural stone surfaces in the kitchen and bathrooms.

The master bedroom not only brags ocean views but a wool carpet underfoot, a spacious walk-in robe and an ensuite bathroom, complete with a twin shower, his and hers vanity and a freestanding bath.
According to Rob Gray, co-founder of Graya, the three-time Grand Slam champion has been eyeing up a spot on the East Coast for a while.
‘Ash has inquired about some of our Brisbane apartments over a number of years and then she ended up securing a Kloud apartment,’ Rob revealed.
‘The proximity to the water afforded by the beachfront location on Jefferson Lane gives the apartments such a premium luxury feel, and Palm Beach offers that relaxed holiday lifestyle.
‘Like myself, I assume Ash and her family will want to spend every weekend there.’
Ash gave birth to her daughter Jordan in June.
‘Welcome to the world Jordan,’ the retired tennis great wrote on Instagram, along with an adorable photo of her new bundle of joy.
‘You are loved unconditionally and we are so grateful to have you in our arms, gorgeous girl.’

Ash revealed she was expecting over Christmas last year, humorously confessing she was ‘terrified’ of having two young children in her Queensland home.
She and husband Garry already share son Hayden, who was born in July 2023.
Ash’s big news was met with message after message of congratulations online, including well wishes from Tennis Australia and the Australian Open, with Kissick also sharing the announcement.
‘It’s been probably the best part of my life, being able to share this next chapter with my husband Garry, and we have no idea what we’re doing but he’s alive and he’s happy,’ Ash said of Hayden earlier this year.
‘Terrified for what is going to come next but we’ll figure it out, I’m sure.’
The 29-year-old said she was readying herself to deal with ‘chaos’ with her second child.
‘As an athlete I used to be the most meticulous, organised person and now it’s absolute carnage,’ Barty said.
