The Vanderpump Rules star who is hosting this reality spin-off gave playful yet surprisingly contemplative glimpses into what the viewers will see. Her answers mixed insider scoops on competitive strategies alongside more personal and odd trivia questions that might pry into some islanders’ past.

What is serious is that Ariana Madix is making no joke about the hosting. The clip features her answering some “burning questions” with her trademark blend of humor and honesty. When asked what game on Love Island USA she would be really good at, she offered a quick response: “Anything that involves diving under and having to feel what something is,” she said with a confident smile. “I feel like I’d be really good at that.”

She said, “I am most competitive whenever I feel like there’s actually a chance that I could win something. If I feel like, oh, I’m not good at that, then I kind of just let it go. But when I think that there’s a real shot at me winning, then I get super, super competitive.”
She added the sentimental display she is bringing to Fiji: the Bula bag. “I have a straw bag that says Bula right on the side of it. And I just love it because it reminds me of my first time in Fiji.”
