Reality TV figures are considered celebrities these days, with most of them having a sizeable social media following. Among these figures with a strong following are Ariana Biermann and Riley Burruss. The two ladies became friends early on, and now they appear together on a reality TV show. In the show, they have demonstrated their love for cosmetics by going on a special NYX shopping spree during which they posted a video.

The video captures the friendship between the two girls on a deeper level because it allows us to see Ariana and Riley running and giggling in the makeup aisle as they enjoy their time. The two of them are in a frenzy owing to a beauty emergency—the absence of lip liner. Neither of the girls has a lip liner and the other seems to be running through the makeup aisle in search of it, shouting phrases like ‘If I don’t have my lip liner, there is no where to work out’. Alongside “Nutmeg” and “Espresso,” the girls pick up fan favorite NYX lip liners and coats, and stick to their hilarious “need to take everything” so they don’t have to come back. Their interaction is so light and easy it serves as genuine reminder of the reason their viewers love to watch them.
These two ladies do not strive the way most of their collaborators do, which is just flaunting a product and in this case a sponsored post and flaunting it is just weird. They have such an amazing manner of talking and interacting with one another. For the greater part of their lives, they have known each other for a long, lengthy period of time and have also been taped, and still are, at cameras. Back when they were children, their mindsets were much fun, and it is much supportive and fun to interact with them than it is to be with a child. It definitely comes across as authentic. They are not just colleagues but true partners.
What about the audience? They are loving it! The comments are filled with love and appreciation for the duet. “The greatest duo of 2025!!” was one of the comments, which truly is something people should look forward to. Their interactions and flow between one another is serious to admire. A different comment along those lines was, “So nice to see you guys together I’ve watched you when you were kids,” which marks the time this friendship has been public in my opinion. An amazing, full circle experience.
An interesting and amusing comment was: “You guys remind me of Kim and NeNe😂😂😂.” That is a very amusing and precise comparison. For other people, that is a shoutout to the crazy but extremely strong friendship “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” That was kind of an iconic and rage fueled friendship but filled with wild and enjoyable moments. Everyone adored that type of friendship so it is plenty of praise as well.
Not everyone is in love with the duo. One of the users gave an opinion which was out of the blue but it was a little off in terms of worry, “Make sure you check them seals. You have no idea how much product gets tossed because customers want to sample/swatch before purchase.” Okay, relatable. Definitely, nobody would appreciate a used lip liner. But dude, still—kind of a buzzkill.
What is noteworthy is the way they keep comes across. “I love that you big show pieces now and you went to Wally world to shop!” was a comment from one of the fans, and another commented, “I love that you went to walmart to shop.” Both comments show that neither of them went to Walmart to shop in luxury but to an ordinary store to shop for basics. In today’s world, it so often happens that celebrities try to promote luxury overpriced and almost insolvable to buy products. What they are doing makes Walmart seem the perfect place to go and shop for cosmetics and makes the partnership feel a lot more genuine as compared to usual adverts.
The reactions, in general, seem to be positive, and the main reason seems to be these two’s friendship, which is heightened and reignited with their current TV show. “I love that the show brought y’all back together y’all friendship is so cute,” is one of the comments that a user made, is very telling and serves as a positive reminder that at times reality TV, as pointless as it can be, fosters useful relationships instead of mindless battles.

Two friends in the moment, openly sharing a memory about makeup, is the memory, and sometimes that is the exact kind of light and joyful content anyone needs. No fake vibes—just Ariana and Riley being themselves, no overproduced nonsense. And frankly? We are loving it.
