Anna Wintour has reportedly made her pick!
The 75-year-old longtime head of editorial content for Vogue has apparently made a decision regarding who will replaced her as she transitions from the role in the company after decades at the helm.
Anna isn’t actually leaving Vogue, however: she’s transitioning to the role of global editorial director, and remains Condé Nast’s chief content officer.
Still, there’s someone new taking over as the head of editorial content!

And her pick is…Chloe Malle!

Chloe Malle
The 39-year-old Vogue.com editor is said to be Anna‘s pick, and the announcement could come as soon as Tuesday (September 2), according to a new report from Puck.
Chloe is the daughter of Candice Bergen and the late director Louis Malle.
She recently interviewed Lauren Sanchez ahead of her wedding to Jeff Bezos. She is a graduate of Brown University and first joined Vogue in 2011 as a social editor, per The Independent.
She has been married to asset manager Graham Albert since 2015.
According to the report, the other names that were in contention included W magazine editor Sara Moonves, and Vogue‘s Nicole Phelps.
Hiring Sara would have required “extracting her from a company that she partly owns and placating her partners, and Wintour doesn’t like tricky,” but she also just rejected the position because it’s not an editor-in-chief job.
Another option was reportedly Stella Bugbee, the editor of the Styles section at The New York Times, who allegedly pulled out of competing for the spot in mid-August.
Stay tuned for an official announcement!
