Dupri posted an advisory find-the-volume track-tagged alongside CeeLo Green-and said that people are “hitting me from all over the place saying this it!” Core hashtags #Atlanna and #YkWTI were discreetly placed as hints for an album release. Sneaky video evidence featured Dupri and some possible behind-the-scenes recording antics, with lyrics that share the south side of Atlanta’s perspective and experience of culture channels coming from the city.

CeeLo Green gave an ongoingly enthusiastic reply to the statements: “My pleasure OG anytime for you and everytime for the city #atlanna.” Almost immediately, his comment section exploded, with fans giving their appreciation to what this union meant. One said, “I heard this shit last night at the crib and jumped in my car and just ride thru the city on Repeat!!” Another remarked, “Legend not just in Atlanta but all over the world.”

Most of the focus was on the production value of the song. One user, jovialjoel_, commented, “Beautiful vocal harmony Stack on the hook… Sound like a sound bath” in reference to the elaborate production the two artists are known for. Another comment went simple with, “This one extra playa…the whole album solid.”

Many consider the track a return to real ATL sound. User beauty_brainsandgrind commented: “Yes bring that REAL SHIT back.” Another user reflected on its nostalgic feel: “Yall took it back to Anquette. This brought back memories. This Fye!” Anquette, of course, were an Atlanta bass music band from the late 80s, which is very telling of how much the song relates to Atlanta’s musical heritage.

A not-so-small feat for a historic moment in modern hip-hop and R&B, the Dupri and Green intersection. Both vie in the music industry for plenteous years, Dupri having carved So So Def Recordings, working with Mariah Carey and Usher, while Green rose to other-world glory with Goodie Mob and massive solo hits such as “Forget You.”

Unfazed, another user, louievalentino, declared the entire project, “Definitely album of the year.” This was followed by many others; several said the single made instant classics. The hype for some physical merch just got bigger when buckheadredd commented, “Bruh u should by the trademarks to those shirts n bring them back!”

Releases such as this one showiahankertheeed a thirsty madd for that genuine sound the artists represent. As user hsg_shod said: “We need that old @ceelogreen from goodie mob.”; to which Green himself replied, “im here”.
