Doc is scrubbing in for season 2.
The Fox medical drama premiered in January 2025 and is returning for its sophomore season on Sept. 14. (Doc season 2 will have a special debut before Sunday Night Football and air again in its regular Tuesday slot.)
Doc stars Molly Parker as Dr. Amy Larsen, who, after a traumatic car accident, wakes up with no recollection of the past eight years. When she awakens, she has to adjust to her reality: She and her husband are divorced, she has a strained relationship with her daughter and her son has died.
The hospital-set show is loosely based on Pierdante Piccioni, an Italian doctor who suffered a brain injury in a 2013 car accident. When he woke from his coma, Piccioni believed that it was 2001.
In honor of season 2, here’s everything to know about the real-life partners of the cast of Doc.

After four years of dating, the pair tied the knot in October 2022 on their property outside of Nashville.
“Yesterday was a dream,” Laura wrote on Instagram alongside a black-and-white photo from their wedding. “Except it wasn’t, because I woke up this morning, starting this new adventure as husband and wife. @jonecker I love you so much and I’m so excited for what’s to come.”

In January 2025, the How to Get Away With Murder alum revealed that she had married her longtime partner, Patrick Oyeku. The couple wed in an intimate ceremony in Brooklyn. N.Y.
“Everyone just already assumed we were married and we hadn’t done it, and … we were like it’s time to,” Vann said on the Sherri talk show. “It was so simple, less than 10 people were there.”
The actress added, “Our parents are getting older, and that was the biggest thing for me. I wanted the elders there.”
She continued detailing the big day, revealing how the wedding was held at the church she grew up in, the Brooklyn Universal Baptist Church.
“The pastor brought me home from the hospital so he’s my godfather too,” Vann said.
They are parents to two daughters: Nyla, who was born in February 2021, and Zoë, who followed in summer 2024.
