Hulk Hogan Secret Health Battle Revealed After Medical Examiner’s Report Is Made Public


Hulk Hogan quietly battled leukemia prior to his passing.

The wrestler, who passed away earlier in July at the age of 71 after going into cardiac arrest, also had a history of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), according to a report from the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center via Page Six.

CLL is characterized by the growth of cancerous white blood cells, or lymphocytes, in the bone marrow, blood, lymph nodes and spleen, according to Mayo Clinic.

The medical examiner’s report marks the first time the public was made aware of the diagnosis.

The cremation summary approval report also mentioned a history of atrial fibrillation.

His cause of death is listed as acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack.
