Chloë Grace Moretz and Kate Harrison were beaming with excitement during their sentimental final wedding dress fittings as they prepared to walk down the aisle.
Inside Louis Vuitton’s atelier in Paris, the couple was captured in a series of new behind-the-scenes photos shared by the official Instagram of Vogue on Monday, September 1, which showed the intensive process they did separately leading up to their nuptials.
Sticking to tradition, Moretz, 28, opted for something blue — wearing an extravagant wedding dress featuring a sparkling and sheer bodice with an “Old Hollywood” feel as well as a cathedral-length veil, which was accessorized with matching long gloves.
“You and Kate had such a vision,” French fashion designer Nicolas Ghesquière said of the venture after the actress gushed over his fine work.
“When we got engaged, I knew immediately that I wanted to reach out to Nicolas and Louis Vuitton [to] see if he would be interested in making my wedding dress, and got a very overwhelmingly excited response from Nicolas that not only would he be willing to make my wedding dress but he also wanted to include Kate in that — and to make both of [our] wedding dresses and our afterparty looks,” she told the magazine.

When it came to finalizing Harrison’s ceremony dress, the fashion model, 34, noted she was keen on selecting a piece with a cinched waist that “highlighted my silhouette” and featured a “soft, sweetheart neckline.”
Ghesquière was up to the task, completing the design with embellishments throughout while creating “artwork of flowing embroidery,” garnering Harrison’s praise.
As for Moretz’s afterparty look, the custom jacket and trousers ensemble she donned was inspired by a model’s 2019 Louis Vuitton runway set.
Harrison, for her part, oozed glamour in a bodice and trousers with a sheer overlay. The thin metallic spaghetti straps and buttons were the perfect final touches.

“We are overwhelmed in a good way,” Moretz gushed before seeing her completed wedding and afterparty dresses for the first time. “This will be our third fitting. We did our first fitting, which was just the toile — which is just the outline and shape — and then we did our secondary fitting, and that was like 98 percent, and then today will be 100 percent. Completely finished, including veils.”
Harrison said it was all starting to feel “real” before they tied the knot over Labor Day weekend, marking a new era of married life following seven years together as a couple.
