Graham Greene Dead – ‘Dances With Wolves’ Actor Dies at 73


Graham Greene has sadly passed away.

The actor, born in Six Nations Reserve in Ontario, Canada and best known for his Oscar nominated role as Kicking Bird (Ziŋtká Nagwáka) in Dances With Wolves, died at 73.

Graham died after “a lengthy illness,” according to his agent Michael Greene, via People.

Graham earned himself a Best Supporting Actor nomination for the 1990 film, which went on win Best Picture among several other awards.

He’s also a Grammy winner, thanks to his work on Listen to the Storyteller, scoring him the win in 2000 for Best Spoken Word Album for Children.

He debuted in 1979 in an episode of Canadian drama series The Great Detective, while his first movie appearance was 1983′s Running Brave.

In addition to his turn in Dances With Wolves, he appeared in films like Die Hard With a Vengeance and The Green Mile, as well as The Twilight Saga: New Moon as Harry Clearwater.

Graham also appeared in Transamerica and Wind River, and most recently appeared in 1883 and Tulsa King. He joined the MCU in the series Echo as well.

He is survived by his wife Hilary Blackmore, daughter Lilly Lazare-Greene and grandson Tarlo, per People.
