Karen Gillan is the latest star to join the cast of the Highlander remake!
On Thursday (August 21), it was announced that the 37-year-old Guardians of the Galaxy actress will be starring alongside Henry Cavill, Dave Bautista, and Marisa Abela in the upcoming remake of the hit ’80s cult classic movie.

While Henry, 42, will be playing immortal warrior Connor MacLeod in the upcoming Chad Stahelski-directed movie, Karen will be playing Heather, MacLeod’s mortal wife and the love of his life, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Principal photography is scheduled to begin at the end of September.
