Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist were the first Golden Bachelor couple after she was given the final role on the first ever season of the series.
The former reality TV husband-and-wife got married in January 2024 during a live TV special and then announced their divorce in April 2024. Gerry then revealed in December 2024 that he had been diagnosed with cancer weeks before their split.
Now, Theresa revealed that, after their split, he actually dated another contestant from their season.

While on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast with Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts, Susan said, “Theresa, I think you know, Gerry dated Christina from our show for a while after.”
Christina Kempton was a contestant on their season and she was eliminated by Gerry in week 3.
Theresa responded, “A while ago…I’m actually the one who suggested he go out with Christina.”
Kathy added, “We’re all on the same page. They went out for, like, six months.”
There’s been a lot of talk about why Theresa and Gerry actually broke up.
