Finishing off the last droplets of ‘And Just Like That’ has sent waves of emotions for the audience bidding adieu to Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, Seema, and Lisa. Oprah Daily shared a late nostalgia article about the whole journey, provoking different reactions from the views, which had grown alongside these iconic characters. The picture had a lady in an almost mystical garden setting, a light dress, and pink heels, presenting a great picture of splendor and contemplation-a very creative representation of the show.

While some hated it for ending, others loved the bittersweet fade of the series. One other person remarked, “I loved Carrie’s last scene. Appropriate ending!!! Still sad to see it go. Love these characters so much…” Another commented, “A show that morphed into one about friendship, aging, self-discovery, and loss got cut before we realized what it was really about.”
Another popular topic of discussion seems to be in regard to whether a second season should have been made. “I thought it ended way too soon. There was so much more they could share about perimenopause, menopause, and growing older,” remarked one fan. Another said, “The first few episodes were rough, but the second half of this season got better—though it still felt rushed.”
The ending of Carrie Bradshaw touched so many women with similar experiences. “I lovethat Carrie ended up on her own instead of saying she’s all alone. Others agree as they feel the series gave empowerment in the fact that one does exist outside of a romantic relationship.
Not everyone liked it, however. Several reviewers just did not feel that the revival measured up to the original series in any way. One said the following very simply: “Didn’t like it—nothing like the original.” However, most seems to lean toward enjoying the character development. “The girls of SATC and AJLT will always be my girlfriends forever,” said one enthusiastic viewer.
