Legacy status is being created, and Mustard wanted to tie that celebration with Chief Keef’s birthday for releasing the long-lamented “Shake Dat” collaboration. The announcement came via a loud yellow-and-black poster with giant letters screaming CHIEF KEEF MUSTARD-an unapologetic transmission of pure energy. If that powerful visual didn’t convince the fans, then the caption surely would: “Happy Birthday SOSA. SHAKE DAT OUT NOW !!!!”

It went viral across Instagram, with fans commenting with birthday wishes, excitement for the release, and some funny jabs. “I can still hear Kanye mumbling” was the humorous contribution from another user looking back at that old leak which got the fans hungry for this one to drop for real. The general expression of impatience was echoed: “About time this shit dropped—got tired of going to SoundCloud.”
But a few were not there for the music. They abused Purposefully, one saying, “You still never dropped that ketchup track from years ago.” Classic fan behavior is not letting an artist live down a vaulted track. Complementing that were fans predicting the aftermath, one saying, “This finna send the Clubs up,” while the other jokingly said, “Sosa mustard song is going viral 😂😂😂.”
Users maintained that the song could be a hit with Chief Keef actually enunciating his verse-which hardly ever happens yet welcome contrary to his usual ad-lib emphasis. “Nigga rappin clear as shit,” one fan expressed, half in shock. Another quoted an underappreciated line: “‘You a star no macys’ lol underrated 🔥.”
Birthday posts just have to feature moments of chaotic energy. “He don’t fuck wit u 😂,” one user deadpanned toward Mustard, while another (hopefully) of Chief Keef proximity hollered, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY DADDY LOVE YOU SHORTY ❤️.” Adoration, playful throwing shade, and HYPE—it was clear as day-this was way more than a song drop.
Not to mention the time of release. “He knew wat he was doing when he waited to let this one fly,” one fan theorized in the hint that he purposely chose to wait for Butterfly effect. Whether on purpose or by accident, what-the-minute birthday rollout was well played—itjaws gigging.
Edgy visual spectacle for the post goes with the moment- loud, in-your-face, and celebratory. In the corner remained the Parental Advisory: the not-so-subtle clue that whatever Chef Keef and Mustard had cooked up was definitely NOT for the faint of heart.
Comments still coming in, one thing had established: the track wasn’t just a birthday gift for Chief Keef. Another fan went on, “my life just dramatically improved.”

Be it “Shake Dat” in club rotation, a viral dance challenge, or just another banger added into Mustard and Keef’s catalog, one thing for sure: Chief Keef just got much louder there on his birthday!
