AnnaSophia Robb is skipping the holiday shopping frenzy this year and taking a more intentional route. Instead of chasing trends, she’s focused on thoughtful, practical gifts that actually last. Bonus: they feel just as good to give as they do to receive!
The actress talked all things holiday gifting with Us Weekly — and yes, she admitted her own list isn’t totally finished yet (celebs, they really are just like Us). “I’m still in progress, but I have ideas for everybody,” Robb shared, adding that she tends to think about gifts long before December arrives.
Robb keeps “a running list” throughout the year, noting ideas whenever something reminds her of someone she loves. Some gifts have become traditions, like the puzzle she buys her Nana every holiday, while others evolve depending on the person.
Personalization has been a major theme for Robb this season. For her, a great gift doesn’t need to be flashy — it just needs to feel thoughtful. “I think when you can get that hyper-specificity and personalize it, you don’t need a bunch of things,” she explained. “You just need good quality stuff that can last forever — and it’s so meaningful when it comes from special people in your life.”
As for what’s on her own wish list? She’s hoping for cozy staples and experience-driven gifts, like cashmere socks, pottery lessons or movie tickets.
