The Ninth House is producing the movie with production underway. It is expected to be released in 2026.
Here is the official synopsis: “When a holiday dating-app partnership forces podcaster Winona (Leavitt) to test love online, she connects with a mystery man who feels like everything she’s been missing. What she doesn’t know is that he’s Luke (Kove), the rugged renovator transforming her grandmother’s Christmas Eve venue — and the last guy she’d ever expect to fall for in real life.”
Jake Helgren (A Cowboy Christmas Romance) will direct from a script written by Ansley Gordon (A Christmas Frequency).
The project marks the Dancing with the Stars contestant’s feature film debut. It was also recently announced that she will make her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago, beginning February 2, 2026.
