In-N-Out workers are fed up with the viral “6-7” meme, this after youths would show up to various chains and record waiting for employees to announce order “67” and causing a ruckus. Many commenters started noticing on Reddit that In-N-Out employees were skipping order number 67 – going straight from 66 to 68. It’s unclear whether the decision is location by location or companywide.
The phrase “6-7” doesn’t seem to have one specific meaning, but is commonly associated with the song “Doot Doot (6 7)” by Skrilla which features the recurring lyric, “6-7,” as well as NBA star LaMelo Ball due to his height, which is 6’7″.
Order No. 69 has already been banned for years.
