A Cinnabon employee in Wisconsin was fired after calling two Somali customers the N-word.

A TikTok video posted on Saturday, Dec. 6, showed the employee calling herself “a racist” before using derogatory word toward customers at a store in Ashwaubenon.

In the video, the employee flipped her middle fingers toward the customers, and then told them to “suck it” while gesturing to her crotch.

When one of the customers asked, “What’s wrong with you?” the worker replied, “What the f— is wrong with you, you f—— ugly bitch.”

Cinnabon addressed the incident in the comments section of the TikTok video as well as on X, writing, “We’ve seen the disturbing video from the Cinnabon bakery in Ashwaubenon … and we do not condone this behavior. The former employee was immediately terminated by the franchise owner.”

“Their actions do not reflect our values or the welcoming experience every guest deserves,” the bakery chain added.

The person who shared the TikTok video said one of the customers is their cousin. The TikToker shared a second video, alleging that the worker insulted the customer’s hijab after she asked for more caramel on her order.

A GoFundMe has been created to support the victims of the racist incident. The description explained that the customers, identified as a Black Somali Muslim couple, decided to go to Cinnabon while out shopping.

The female customer allegedly ordered a caramel pecan cinnamon roll and the worker “hardly” put any caramel on the order. The woman then asked the employee to add more caramel, and the worker responded by calling her hijab a “witch-craft bandana.”

“My cousin called me crying after this incident,” the organizer wrote, calling the worker’s behavior “unacceptable.”

“My cousin is traumatized and is afraid to be outside now…. the racism is getting out of hand nowadays,” the person added.
