Prince Harry made a surprise appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night (December 3) in a bit about a real-life Prince wanting to star in a Hallmark Christmas movie!
During Stephen‘s monologue, Prince Harry walked out to huge cheers.
“I genuinely thought this was the audition for the Gingerbread Prince saves Christmas in Nebraska,” he said as the applause died down.
About genuinely wanting to star in one of these films, Harry joked, “Well, you Americans are obsessed with Christmas movies, and you’re clearly obsessed with royalty, so why not?”
“Hold on, I wouldn’t say we’re obsessed with royalty,” Colbert responded.

Harry then quipped, “Really? I heard you elected a king.” This drew cheers and boos.
“And after making such a big deal about my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather, George III,” he added.
“Well, he was kind of a jerk,” Colbert said in response.
They continued on in the bit, then referencing Stephen‘s show getting canceled by CBS.
