Normani Makes Surprise ‘DWTS’ Return, Joins Friend Jordan Chiles During Finale Freestyle to ‘Motivation’ – Watch Now!


Normani surprised the audience with an appearance during Jordan Chiles’ freestyle on the season 34 finale of Dancing With the Stars!

The 29-year-old singer joined her friend and pro Ezra Sosa during the final dance of the night, their freestyle, which was also partially set to her debut solo single, “Motivation.”

After the routine, judge Carrie Ann Inaba said it was the best freestyle ever in 20 seasons!

The routine earned them a 30 out of 30 points, bringing their total finale score of the night to 89/90, tying them for second place in judges’ scores. See all the scores here!

After the show finished, Jordan even gushed about having Normani dancing with her in the finale.

“People don’t understand how talented and gifted she is and I really wanted to show that in that she is somebody that I truly look up to, and that she’s literally like my big sister. I wouldn’t change the world for her,” the gymnast told The Wrap. “I’m happy that I was able to have this moment with her, and to know that she was on Dancing With the Stars season [sic] 28, and I’m here in season 34 and brought her back. I think that’s the most iconic thing we will ever see.”

Normani was actually on season 24, and she also made it to the finals with her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy. They came in third place that season.
