Jinger Vuolo headed to Instagram to see a new home upgrade: the now-discounted-by-$400 Thomasville Tisdale Sectional in beige, with the sale ending August 10. In a little playful video, the ex-reality celeb turned lifestyle influencer went about proving the modular suitability of the sofa into basically any environment: it’s basically an IKEA-Tetris. Removable back cushions and expansion opportunities make this sectional a chair for comfort and practicality for expanding families.

The comedic nature of Vuolo’s humor was obviously present in the caption where she joked about the great difficulty of saying the full name of the couch while juggling. Somewhat cheeky was the call to comment with the word “COUCH” in order to receive a direct link to the deal promo. As a sponsored post from Thomasville, it ranged in reactions, from enthusiastic endorsements to skeptical side-eyes.
One user said: Thumbs up! I own the dark gray one, and I love it. Another user posed the practical question as to whether the pieces actually hook together or just slide freely from each other, while a third chimed in that they do hook but somewhat rotate underneath when not in use. A third concluded,”very awesome, very versatile,” basically echoing those good vibes from above.
Chilling feedback, though. One user questioned why some of the bottom cushions were tufted while others weren’t, planting a doubt about design consistency. Another snarkingly commented sarcastically implying that “Preaching-and-podcasts pay well” must be the sort of money Vuolo is making from this. A follow-up comment proposed that selling Costco couches must also be pretty lucrative.
An even harsher critique came in that accused Vuolo of making her kids hide behind a blanket during filming. She called it sad, suggesting that she just avoid including them in advertising altogether. The defenders immediately counterattacked; one pleaded with the detractor to stop whining about how others run their social media accounts; another even speculated that Vuolo might have edited her kids out afterwards instead of making them hide in the first place.
In the middle of the debate, some followers went straight for the light-hearted, “Vuolo’s recent voiceovers were hilarious.” Either that, or someone voiced concern over whether she should be moving furniture quite so soon after giving birth; although, it is unclear whether this was in reference to a somewhat outdated assumption about her family timeline. This reminds many of Jinger Vuolo’s recent activities.

Whether the couch was a hit or viewers just kept laughing at Vuolo enabling, the post actually did manage to get people talking, something the influencer aces with ease. The jokes, the interior décor, and the controversies: they’ve got something for everyone to latch onto. That is: until the sale ends, at which point the faint-hearted might well find themself typing in “COUCH” before it’s too late.
