Ariana Grande
Ariana shared the video of her discussing a possible Wicked 3 on her Instagram. She joked that if “we’ve learned anything from Cher, we can count on there always being another farewell tour. So I don’t think anyone’s going anywhere.”
When pressed about whether or not that is a confirmation, she chuckled and said she doesn’t know about that.
Funnily enough, Ariana is hosting Saturday Night Live again soon and guess who is her musical guest?
John M. Chu
The director of both Wicked and Wicked: For Good said there are “a lot of ideas flying around right now” when asked. The Variety reporter mentioned that people seem to want a Fiyero origin story and Jon said his daughter had actually written the beginning of one that he loved.
Bowen Yang
Bowen was the only one out of the cast (so far) to say he’s not sure about another Wicked, adding that we can “leave it here.”
But he does want to pitch a version of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead starring his and Bronwyn James‘ characters that he joked could be set in the Wicked Cinematic Universe, or the “WCU.”
Michelle Yeoh
Michelle would be totally onboard with another Wicked. As she said to Variety, “why would I ever say no to [Jon].”
Wicked: For Good will be out in theaters on November 21. Check out photos of the cast from the premiere!
