‘Final Destination 7′ In the Works with ‘Bloodlines’ Co-Writer Attached!

The Final Destination franchise is hotter than ever and now a seventh movie is in the works!

Final Destination: Bloodlines was released in theaters earlier this year and has become the most successful film in the franchise, grossing over $286 million worldwide. The movie was also a rare horror hit with critics, earning a 93% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Now, the movie’s co-writer, Lori Evans Taylor, is set to write the next installment of the series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie marked Lori‘s biggest project to date. She previously wrote the screenplays for indie movies Bed Rest and Cellar Door.

Bloodlines rebooted the franchise after a 14-year absence and we hope we won’t have to wait nearly as long for the next film in the series.
