Chadwick Boseman is going to be honored in a major way.
Five years after his death, the Oscar-nominated actor will be honored with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next week in Los Angeles.
The ceremony will be taking place on Thursday, November 20 and his widow Simone Ledward-Boseman will be on hand to accept the honor. Ryan Coogler, who directed Chadwick in Black Panther, and Viola Davis, who costarred with him in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, are both set to speak at the event.

Chadwick passed in late August 2020 after secretly battling colon cancer. He was 43.
His star will be located at 6904 Hollywood Blvd. in Los Angeles, according to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
