Machine Gun Kelly Reveals Private Conversation He Had with Taylor Swift as Chiefs Were Losing Super Bowl 2025


Machine Gun Kelly is looking back at a conversation he had with Taylor Swift earlier this year.

While appearing on ABC News Live on Wednesday (August 6), the 35-year-old “Bloody Valentine” singer recalled a private conversation he had with the 35-year-old “Cruel Summer” singer at the 2025 Super Bowl when the Kansas City Chiefs were losing to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Keep reading to find out more…MGK said that he initially thought the Big Game was going to be a “legendary night” for Travis Kelce and the Chiefs, but in the end, the Philadelphia Eagles won.

“I was in Travis’ suite, and at the beginning of it Taylor was like, ‘Hell yeah we’re gonna come watch you perform,’ like it’s gonna be crazy tonight,” MGK recalled. “By the third quarter, dude, I was looking at that score, I went up to Taylor I was like, ‘Y’all aren’t coming tonight, huh?’”

He added, “She was like ‘I don’t think so man. I’ll see if I can get him to get out but I don’t think [so].’”

Also in the interview, MGK talked about his friendship with the 35-year-old tight end.

“That’s my dawg,” MGK said of Travis. “He’s from Cleveland. He’s from right next to where I’m from.”

Travis previously shared how Taylor comforted him after the Super Bowl loss.
