The artist and entrepreneur 50 Cent have joined forces in a new collaboration to create the ‘Fight Land Theme Song’ and the song features Sheff G, Sleepy Hallow, and Jeremih. The powerful track is considered a grand return of the artist who had been mainly focused on getting involved in the production of the series that he had been living through hard times. The release of the song did not take long and the audience was soon talking about it; however, their reactions were divided.

When announcing the song, 50 Cent called it ‘New heat’, and this track dares to play rather indiscreetly the roughness, and the street sound that he has always been identified with. The words that were shown in the video which was released along with the song, dramatize vividly the reality of street life and its gradation through death. The two lines: ‘Careful who you chill with that might be who you kill with’ and ‘Your man got them hands, he wanna box. My man got that blick, he wanna pop’ are a perfect example of the revealing and non-sterile narration that marked the early part of his career.
The force of the song was instantly linked to boxing by one of the listeners who remarked ‘Fire! Why was Terence Crawford popping in my mind while listening to the song? This guy is the hardest puncher on the planet.’ This comparison is a good indication of how much the song has been able to release the competitive energy and fighting spirit.
The release of the song stirred a talk about 50 Cent’s evolving sound, one fan commenting ‘The pen left your hands but never left your mind. Banger!!!’ It is a flow of talent that even if the artist spends his time on other businesses he will still be lyrically sharp.
On the other hand, the negative comments were not all that harsh. Some of the audience had no doubts about the long break since the last release, one of them wittily saying ‘it took you 20 long years to drop one for 50 but I am still your fan.’ This spectrum of reactions points to the fact that the artist’s life is rather like a complex comeback after a long absence.

The critic, however, did not hold back and rendered the artist a tough recommendation: ‘Man, release a new album. Combine some new stuff with unreleased tracks by you and G-Unit.’ This kind of criticism points to a heightened desire for more quality to be delivered in a way that is not just through singles.
There was one collaboration that was clearly such that the artists inhabited the performance and one listener noticed it saying: ‘Sheff did his thing and Sleepy was asking ChatGPT for those lyrics.’ A playful mockery of this nature suggests that the audience is not only listening to the songs but also examining the contributions of the individual artists to the group collectively.
Some users were expressing the meaning of the song in more abstract forms. One user identified the relationship and the consequences symbolized by the song when he/she/they wrote ‘Careful who you chill with that might be who you kill with’ and added a broken heart emoji, thus implying that they discovered a deeper significance in the lyrics than just physical violence.
At the same time, 50 Cent’s current career priorities were also part of the debate. It was one of the opinions that ‘They do not understand that he is not making music for rap fans but for his TV shows, he does not care about music anymore.’ This standpoint indicates that the audience has been made aware of the marketing tactics behind the music releases of artists with multiple business interests and different ones.
Despite the differences in their opinions a great number of the listeners agreed on the song’s being nostalgically inspired feature to be its strong point. One listener said ‘this is the rap era that I grew up in, the era of get your ass up and get rich or die trying.’ The response seems to confirm that the track is indeed the one which reflects the sound and manner that gave 50 Cent his financial success.
One feedback was about the strength of the video: ‘This A.I image getting pipped is not it Cuzo,’ thus showing that public scrutinizes so many dimensions of the artwork that they even know what is not working so it goes all the way back to the song’s release.
One of the common themes that emerged from the listeners’ feedback was that while the current work was good it could not compete with the past works at the same time the artist was given the right to change. The different yet vigorous answer it illustrates that 50 Cent still has the ability to draw the public’s attention and make them talk, whether through music, TV, or business, because he has that power and it has not weakened even after two decades of his career.

50 Cent is always busy and at the same time, he knows what his fans are up to. The latest track is an evidence to his not cutting off. His recent Emmy victory and massive television empire show his diverse business interests. The track also brings to mind his earlier work, like the hilarious movie clip featuring Jim Jones.
