Mark Sanchez Let Go From Fox Sports After Stabbing Incident


We have a new update on Mark Sanchez following his arrest in a stabbing incident.

Last month, the 38-year-old former NFL player was allegedly the aggressor in a violent incident that happened, leading to his arrest while in the hospital. While in Indianapolis, he allegedly assaulted a 69-year-old delivery driver while in an alley by a bar and then the man stabbed him in response. The fight reportedly broke out over a parking spot. The former football player is now facing a Level 5 battery charge. The punishment for that type of charge is one to six years in jail.

Mark was in Indianapolis to call an NFL game for Fox Sports.

On Friday (November 7), it was revealed that Mark has been let go from his job at Fox.

Keep reading to find out more…“We can confirm that Mark Sanchez is no longer with the network. There will be no further comment at this time,” a spokesperson for Fox Sports told TMZ.

If you didn’t know, Mark played in the NFL for 10 seasons before announcing his retirement in July 2019. He has since worked with ESPN and Fox for game day coverage.

On Friday, Fox Sports announced that Drew Brees has joined the network as an NFL analyst, though it’s unclear if he’s taking over Mark‘s position or if the hiring is just a coincidence.

Mark‘s attorney recently provided an update on his recovery.
