A customer had to deal with a slithery setback as they were trying to get a food order.
While waiting in line at a Pollo Tropical drive-thru in Homestead, Fla., on Monday, Oct. 20, a fellow customer captured the shocking moment when a snake slithered inside the person’s car.
“I saw a snake [move] from the grass towards the car in front of me,” Kyrin Salvary said, recalling the moment, per Storyful. “It then proceeded to crawl into the engine and then into the car.”

In video footage captured, the reptile can be seen slithering in between the front wheels of the car in search of an entry point underneath.
“It’s going up in your car!” Salvary is heard yelling in the video.
However, the snake was unable to make its way into the other Pollo Tropical customer’s vehicle.
“The snake ended up falling out again when the car started moving [after] I told the driver,” Salvary said.
According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, there are 44 species of native snakes in Florida, but just six are venomous.
Any can occasionally be found in an urban setting, the organization said, adding that snakes in Florida are typically “harmless” and are beneficial for reducing rodent populations.
The drive-thru incident took place a month after authorities in Miami were called to remove a gigantic snake from a nearby work site.
Help was also required when homeowners in Naples saw a boa constrictor measuring over 9 feet in their backyard.
