Lauren Jauregui has announced a fresh assortment of merchandise that is exclusively available via her official app, which features not only a limited number of signed posters but also a lighter that is restricted to the US market alone. The sneak preview of the track “Baby, my world will tell you,” was shared by the singer together with the restrictions on release and availability by region that caused varied reactions from the public. Lauren Jauregui just granted her Coven a unique privilege. The former Fifth Harmony singer has rolled out a new merchandise line that is solely accessible through her official app and that comes with limited signed posters featuring wonderful cover art and butterfly-themed lighters for US customers only. Her announcement was accompanied by the release of behind-the-scenes studio footage, where fans not only got to see new music but were also allowed to access it while shopping.

One of the first things that Lauren said was, “The merch drop is now live in my app.” She spoke directly to her Coven members and offered them the chance to get first choice of all the items including a signed poster of “this GORGEOUS cover art” and an exclusive poster. Then, she made it clear that the signing of these posters is limited to certain numbers, and she even used a playful teasing emoji telling fans to “snatch that while you can.” The capsule has hoodies and a few other pieces of clothing that were designed by Sasha DM of Zasha Ink and had the visual part of the package done by Trippy Dana who did the photography.
But it was at this moment that global fans faced a dilemma. The butterfly lighter was sold only in the USA, and Lauren expressed her unfortunate “sorryyyy” along with a sad emoji directed to her global audience. This restriction was not well received by everyone, and it instantly resulted in different reactions worldwide.
The responses to this situation were very varied, with some people being extremely happy while others were absolutely furious. A fan from the joyful side shouted “Just got the hoodie!! It looks so pretty @sashadm really ate omg!! so excited to wear it!!” and added lots of crying and shy emojis which showed how deeply they were moved. Another fan simply wrote “Bro got my poster yay” with starry eyes, clearly very happy with his or her purchase.
On the other hand, the international audience had a completely different experience. “Lauren, I love your merch. Why do your American fans have access to it and not your international fans?” questioned one upset follower who spoke for many from different countries. The Brazilians were the most vocal among the disappointed fans, one wrote “NÃO CADÊ OS DISPONÍVEIS PROS BRASILEIROS NÃO ACREDIYO” which means “WHERE ARE THOSE AVAILABLE FOR BRAZILIANS I CAN’T BELIEVE IT.” Another local fan said “Brasil só toma no caneco 😢 (mais eu te amo)” which translates to “Brazil always gets the short end of the stick 😢 (but I still love you).”
There were also some negative comments about the designs which even led to criticism. “¿Alguien sabe quién es la que le hace los diseños a Lauren? Pinches diseños todos básicos. Creo que el fandom hace mejores diseños” was the comment that not only asked for the designer’s name but also implied that the fandom makes better designs than the designer of the main artist. This comment received replies from some defenders, including one telling critics, “Mija si nuestra bella angel es lo que vende no hay que quejarse,” implying that the beautiful angel is what sells and there is no reason to complain.
Meanwhile, the lighter turned out to be the unexpected star of the collection. “The lighter is soooo pretty! Don’t smoke but ima light plenty of candles with it lol,” confessed one down-to-earth fan. Another one proclaimed “I need this lighter, and I don’t even smoke😭” indicating that the aesthetic factor has prevailed over the practical one. Even the photographer Trippy Dana joined the conversation with “Omg need a lighter 🔥” showing professional approval of the hype.
Some fans came up with creative shipping workaround. “Manda aqui pra casa, amor” one Portuguese speaker asked, simply requesting Lauren to “Send it here to my house, love” as if direct delivery was an option. Others went for a more resigned approach, with one fan saying “Soy pobre y de latam 😢” meaning “I’m poor and from Latin America 😢” while another one shared “Separando o dinheiro para comprar 😍❤️” or “Setting aside money to buy 😍❤️” showing determination in spite of obstacles.
The merch drop also highlighted some interesting fan dynamics, with one supporter defending the designs against criticism they attributed to “cmren shippers” – apparently referencing fans of a particular ship who might be disappointed with Sasha’s involvement. “Don’t listen to the CS in these comments saying it’s not good queen they say it just bc
